Anthony and Jillian met in August of 2000, when Jillian moved into Taylor College at Lehigh University as a college freshman.  Anthony was a senior, who was living in Taylor for his last year at Lehigh.  Anthony was part of the WIRED team who helped freshman setup their computers on the network (because 2004 was before the days of wireless internet).  Jillian didn’t think she needed help with this, as her high school friend offered to do it for her.  It turns out, he couldn’t, and left Jillian needing more assistance than your average freshman.  Anthony spent a few hours in Jillian’s dorm that day, reformatting the hard drive on her computer.  To this day, it’s unclear if it really took this long to fix her computer, or if Anthony was just caught up in a conversation with Jillian.

Over the next few months, Jillian would create computer “problems”, just so Anthony could come fix them.  In November, Jillian and Anthony went to the Lehigh/Lafayette bonfire together, had a great time and ended the night with a kiss.  Jillian and Anthony didn’t talk for the next two days, since they were each wrapped up in their own Lehigh/Lafayette plans.  On the third day, as the weekend festivities died down, Jillian and Anthony recapped their weekends together over dinner, beginning their romance.  They both thought it was “nothing serious”, as Anthony was planning to move away for graduate school that summer.  But, when summer came, it was clear to both Jillian and Anthony that they weren’t ready to put their relationship to rest.
